Russian festival awards Iran’s ‘The Savior’

Iranian short film ‘The Savior’ has been awarded at the 2022 edition of International Social Film Festival “Love in every heart” in Russia.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘The Savior’ brought Setia Asadi the Best Child Role award in the Russian event.

The film also received an Honorable Mention in Animation.

‘The Savior’, written and directed by Soheila Pour-Mohammadi, tells the story of a girl who has recently witnessed the death of her mother.

The cast members of the film include Mahmoud Taqavi and Setia Asadi.

The International Social Film Festival “Love in every heart” presents short films about love.

According to an online submission platform, the event’s goals include “encouraging talented filmmakers” and “supporting cultural exchanges”.

The latest edition of International Social Film Festival “Love in every heart” took place on August 27-September 4.
